Who we are

DoneFast is developed and published by Asprotunity Limited, a company registered in England and Wales, United Kingdom, company number 05350979. For privacy matters, Asprotunity Limited acts as the data controller.

Data stored on your device

All content you create in DoneFast — tasks, projects, comments, and settings — is stored in a SQLite database on your device. This data does not leave your device unless you explicitly enable optional sync (see below).

If you enable Google Drive sync, the app stores your Google account email address and OAuth authentication tokens in your device's local storage. These are used solely to authenticate with Google's API on your behalf and are never transmitted to Asprotunity.

Voice dictation

DoneFast can transcribe spoken task descriptions using your device's built-in on-device speech recognition. Audio is processed entirely on your device by the operating system — it is not sent to Asprotunity or any third party by the app. Depending on your device's system settings, the operating system itself may process audio through Apple's servers; this is governed by Apple's own privacy policy, not ours.

Optional sync

Sync is entirely optional. If you choose to enable it, your task data is transferred directly between your device and the sync provider you select. Asprotunity does not operate or have access to any sync infrastructure unless you choose to run the optional self-hosted sync server yourself.

• iCloud Drive — data is handled by Apple under Apple's iCloud privacy policy.
• Google Drive — data is stored in a private app-specific folder in your Google Drive account, accessible only by DoneFast. Asprotunity requests access only to this hidden folder and to your account email address. Your data is handled by Google under Google's privacy policy.
• Shared folder or self-hosted server — data is handled entirely by you and the infrastructure you choose.

Data we do not collect

Asprotunity does not collect any of the following:

• Your tasks, projects, or any content you create
• Analytics, usage statistics, or behavioural data
• Crash reports or diagnostic data
• Advertising identifiers
• Location data

The app contains no third-party analytics SDKs, advertising libraries, or tracking frameworks.

Notifications

If you grant notification permission, the app schedules local notifications on your device for due and scheduled tasks. These notifications are generated and delivered entirely on-device by the operating system. No notification content is transmitted to Asprotunity.

Children

DoneFast does not knowingly collect personal data from anyone. Because no personal data is collected by the app, it is suitable for use by people of all ages.

Your rights under UK GDPR

Under UK data protection law, you have the right to access, correct, or erase personal data held about you, and to object to or restrict its processing. Because all your data is stored locally on your device, you can exercise these rights directly — by editing or deleting content in the app, or by deleting the app and its associated data from your device.

If you use Google Drive sync and wish to revoke the app's access to your Google account, you can do so at any time from your Google Account security settings, or from within the app's sync settings.

In-app purchases

If you make an in-app purchase, the transaction is processed by Apple (via the App Store) or Google (via Google Play) under their respective privacy policies. Asprotunity receives only confirmation that a purchase was made — we do not receive your payment details, billing address, or any other financial information. Purchase records are stored locally on your device by the operating system.

This website (donefast.app)

This section covers data collected when you visit donefast.app, separately from the DoneFast app itself.

Waitlist sign-up. If you submit your email address via the sign-up form on this site, your address is stored by Kit (ConvertKit, Inc.), our email marketing provider. It is used solely to send you a single notification when DoneFast launches. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email we send. We do not share your address with any other third party. Kit's privacy policy is available at kit.com/privacy.

Server logs. Our web host automatically records standard access logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited, and timestamp) for security and diagnostic purposes. These logs are retained for a short period and are not used for tracking or profiling.

Analytics. This website uses Umami, a privacy-first analytics service. Umami does not use cookies, does not collect personal data, and does not track visitors across sites. It records only aggregate information such as page views, referrer, browser type, and country. Data is processed by Umami (Umami Software, Inc.) under their privacy policy.

Cookies. This website does not set any cookies.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify users through the app or the App Store release notes.
